MediaLayer is proud to offer an extremely effective email security & spam filtering service as an add-on service for application hosting customers. The service acts as a real-time screening service for your email and forwards only legitimate messages to the mail server.
How it Works
Get StartedEvery domain on the Internet can have its own MX record(s) which control where the mail is sent.
By using the spam filtering service, your MX records will be pointed to a redundant spam filtering cluster.
Within miliseconds, legitimate messages are separated from spam and viruses, and make their way to the destination mail server. Suspicious messages are kept in the quarantine for future review. Also, in the case of the destination mail server being offline, the emails will be held while re-delivery is attempted periodically.
In addition to reviewing blocked messages, within the control panel, sensitivity settings (from lenient to aggressive) can be adjusted and additional mail queues can be added. Interested? Please contact our sales department.
